Content strategy and production

We find out what your customers search for, spot the gaps your competitors missed, and write the pages that fill them. We'll fix up the pages you already have, too.

What's included

  • Keyword research grouped by topic and by what the searcher actually wants.
  • A look at who's winning your searches right now, and what they're missing.
  • A publishing plan you can actually keep up with.
  • Briefs, writing and editing, with every fact checked.
  • Refreshing and merging pages you already have. Often quicker than writing new ones.
  • Service pages built to turn visitors into calls.

What's not

  • Social media posts or account management.
  • Email newsletters.
  • Publishing for the sake of it. We cap it at two posts a week to start.

What we need from you

  • One recorded interview with you, or your best person, at kickoff.
  • Someone who can confirm a claim is true before it goes live.
  • Access to publish, or a person who publishes on a set schedule.

The first few months

  1. 1Weeks 1 to 2

Research, topic grouping and gap analysis, plus the kickoff interview we write from.

  2. 2Weeks 3 to 6

The plan agreed, the first briefs written, and your most valuable existing pages refreshed.

  3. 3Weeks 7 to 12

Steady writing against the plan. We check each batch is indexed two weeks after it goes live.

Questions people ask first

Who actually writes it?

We do. We start from a recorded interview with whoever knows your work best. You're the expert, so we get the knowledge from you and handle the structure, sources and editing ourselves.

Is this AI-generated content?

We use AI tools in our own work. But every fact has to trace back to a source, or it gets cut. If we can't back a page up, we don't publish it.

How much content do we need?

Less than most agencies will quote you. Focused pages run 900 to 1,400 words and big guide pages 2,500 to 3,500. We cap it at two posts a week to start, so we can check Google is picking them up before we write more.

What if our existing pages are bad?

Then that's where we start. Fixing and merging what you have usually beats writing new pages. Thin pages competing with each other is one of the most common problems on small business sites, and one of the fastest to fix.
